Capillary pumped loop (CPL)is a versatile two phase heat transfer device which has recently gained increasing acceptance in space thermal control and electronic component cooling in modern electronics
Using no moving parts the prototype units were designed, fabricated and successfully tested with excellent results.
In this project work experimental analysis on hydrodynamic and thermodynamic theory of CPL has calculated and the results presented in this project have been validated by tests performed on a experimental version of the CPL.

In our project we present the modeling, simulation and tuning of Thyristor Controlled Series Compensator (TCSC) controller for the improvement of power system stability for a 210 MW Synchronous Generator. Different controller structures namely Lead-Lag (LL) and a proportional-integral-derivative PID for TCSC controller have been proposed and a comprehensive assessment of the effects of the tuned TCSC controller on test power system have been carried out. The controller parameters have been tuned using particle swarm optimization for IAE performance index of the power system. It will improve both voltage stability and load angle stability. The proposed PSO based TCSC controllers damp out the oscillations in the state variables of the Single machine system.
